It's quince time!!! Spent a good part of the weekend devoted to all things quince... making quince jelly and membrillo from the leftover pulp, plus a few slow roasted quinces for us to enjoy right now – oh man, it made the house smell so good!⁣

Depending on the variety and how easy they are to peel and chop (the giant shiny ones are easier to peel and cut, the furrier ones are much harder but cook up to this deep ruby red) they can take a fair bit of preparation... but jelly and quince paste and preserved fruit will bring us joy and deliciousness for a whole year, so I guess it's all worth it! 𝘐 𝘬𝘦𝘦𝘱 𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘺𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘧 𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘰𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘲𝘶𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭!
